David takes the Chair again.
 
On Friday 8th January New Century Council was pleased to welcome the District Grand Prefect to the Installation Meeting of New Century Council meeting at Southport Masonic Hall.

Also welcomed to the meeting were all the visitors amongst these was Stan Hill (WM. Council on the Fylde).

Following these formalities the Distinct DC announced that the Grand Master was in attendance, he was then admitted, being greeted with spontaneous applause.

The next business was the Installation as Master. W.Bro.David Southward was then Installed as Master of the Council for the ensuing year by Tom Holt.

Following the Installation, Bill Seddon the District Grand Prefect congratulated David on becoming Master of New Century Council, wishing him well for the future.

He also commented on the high standard of Ritual worked in the Ceremony of Installation thanking Tom Holt on the excellence of the work carried out.
A Chat before Dinner
In reply David Southward thanked the District Grand Prefect for his generous comments inviting him and all present to join him at dinner.
To round off the meeting the Grand Master Tom Jackson presented a Grand Council Certificate to Phil Gunning and Brian Henshaw.
